Railway 200 celebrated 200 years of the modern railway and its lasting impact on communities across the South Wales Valleys and beyond.Through local events, heritage walks, creative sessions and community activities, the project connects national celebrations with the rich railway history of the Three Valleys.By exploring shared stories, historic journeys and local heritage, Railway 200 helps build pride in the railway’s past while encouraging engagement with rail today.
