The Three Valleys Community Rail Partnership extends from the Heads of the Valleys to Cardiff, the capital city of Wales on the shores of the Bristol Channel.

Extending across the counties of Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Cardiff, the region offers an array of exciting destinations to visit – from the bright lights of Cardiff to the rich history of the Valleys and stunning vistas of the Bannau Brycheiniog / Brecon Beacons National Park.

Take a step back in time learn about the history of coalmining with a visit to the Rhondda Heritage Park, explore the great outdoors with a journey on the Brecon Mountain Railway, cycle the 55 mile ‘Taff Trail’ or simply take a stroll along the Wales Coast Path in Cardiff Bay. There’s something for everyone!
