We are proud members of the Community Rail Network – a growing grassroots movement made up of 75 community rail partnerships, 1,300 station volunteer groups, and many other community-led initiatives across Britain.

Together, we engage and empower local communities to get the most from their railways.  Community rail supports social inclusion, access to opportunity, sustainable travel and tourism, health and well-being, and local economic growth.

We work in partnership with train operators, the wider transport sector, local authorities, educators, and community organisations to deliver locally led projects, improve rail services and stations, and ensure communities have a strong voice in shaping rail and transport.
